Who we are

little LOCAL is a joyful, inclusive family center focused on science-based, play-driven early learning. Our hands-on approach invites children and their caregivers to explore the world using all five senses–observing, predicting, and discovering how things work by seeing, touching, hearing, moving, and feeling.

We believe that scientific thinking begins in early childhood–with every splash of water, falling block, or curious question. Whether we’re watching ice melt in the sun, exploring balance with simple scales, practicing deep breathing or observing the changing seasons of a backyard tree, every activity at little LOCAL is designed to nurture discovery, confidence, and connection.

Our approach supports early developmental integration–building sensory processing skills, motor coordination, cognitive development, and self-regulation. All activities are inclusive and adaptable to a variety of learning profiles.

In an age of AI and information overload, helping children ask, “What is real? What is true?” is more essential than ever. At little LOCAL, we believe the best foundation for discernment and lifelong learning starts with direct experience and scientific observation.
